Community guidelines

Wise Pick works because people trust each other. These rules keep buying and selling safe for everyone.

The short version: be honest, be respectful, and only post jobs and services that are real and legal. Breaking these rules can get posts removed or your account suspended.

Keep it legal

·Only post real jobs and services that are legal in the Maldives, with pay and conditions that follow the Employment Act.

·No jobs that ask applicants to pay to apply, buy a starter kit, or recruit others.

·No work involving weapons, drugs, or anything age-restricted.

Be honest

·Describe the job as it is: the real role, island, hours and pay. No bait-and-switch.

·Applicants: your profile, CV and documents must be your own and true.

·Businesses: post under your real business name and contact details.

Respect people

·No harassment, threats, discrimination or hate speech toward applicants, businesses, or Wise Pick staff.

·Use applicants' details only to hire for the job they applied to. Never share or sell them.

·Respect privacy: never share someone's phone number, documents or photos without consent.

Keep it clean

·No foul or abusive language in job posts, services, profiles or reviews.

·No adult content or unrelated images anywhere on the platform.

·Don't spam. No duplicate posts or keyword stuffing.

Stay safe

·Meet for interviews in public or at the business's real premises.

·Never send money or ID to someone who contacts you outside a real application.

·Report suspicious posts, profiles or messages. It keeps the whole community safe.

What happens if rules are broken

First strikeThe post is removed and you get a warning explaining why.

RepeatedYour account may be suspended while we review your activity.

SeriousIllegal items, scams, or threats lead to a permanent ban with no warnings.

Suspended by mistake? You can always contact us and we'll review it.
